Outlook 2000 hide fax numbers on contacts list

In creating a new message to be sent to one of my contacts, I will select the "To" button and scroll down to the "Contacts" selection in "Show Names From The.."
Once I do that, it will show me each contact twice, once for the (E-mail) address and once for the (Business Fax) address. This is making the list to be too long and opening up a possibility of selecting the incorrect one (fax verses e-mail.)

? Is there any way to stop the displaying of the (Business Fax) listing ?

The only way seems to add an prefix to each fax number (i.e. FAX:<now the number>) ...
