If an attachment is opened for viewing in Outlook 2000, and the user selects File, Save As, the default path is the following: %systemroot%\documents and settings\%username%\temporary internet files\OLK4.

Is there any way to change this path to one that the user chooses? Frankly, when this was revealed to me, I understood why I was asked if this could be modified.

Any assistance is appreciated.

No.

You can change the default path for when the user right-clicks the attachment icon tho. But what this reg entry does is change the default path of ALL locations where it would by default "My Documents".

Let me know if you want that. Anne Troy
