Here's a question I've heard rumours on and want to get some clarification....

If someone is using Outlook in windows 2000, are there any procedures or conversions that need to be done to go to Outlook 2003?

Does the install do the conversion automatically?

Thanks

Detroit

As far as I've seen yes.
One thing to note, if you're going the other way for whatever reason is that Outlook 2003 pst files don't work in Outlook 2000.
In 2003 it does give you the option to create a backward compatible one but it's not the default.

Will the converted PST file be able to go over the 2 gig limit?

Detroit

Again, as far as I know, there is still a 2Gb limit on PST files

I was under the impression that 2003 would go beyond that. That's where my problem lies. I need to go over the 2 gig limit.
