Hi All

Does anyone know how to set the outgoing caller ID and name on a G3si ECS r6 ?

I don't need any specific extensions, I just want a "one CLI for all outgoing calls" approach.

Thanks

Pete Burgess

You might try looking at CH ISDN PUBLIC. I to would like a little more help with this. So many buttons So little time

You do go into "ch isdn public"
Example: My DID is 617-222-7010 my extension is 7010
exten length- is the length of your extensions eg: 4
extension code: is the first digit in the did range 7
Trunk Group: The group(s) that calls go OUTBOUND on.
CPN Prefix is the NPA-NXX in my example 617222 the switch will then attach the last 4 digits of your extension.
If you want to broadcast out a main number just fill in the main number 6172227000
total cpn length in the us is 10 digits NPA-NXX-NNNN
Make sure you have cpn turned on on the trunk group form.

Hey Dsldefinity,
This also works great for getting around the privacy manager service offered by most local service providers. If you have a Collections Call Center, this helps the agents really well. You will have to program all the stations with a cpn-unblk button. If you call a number and here "the number you have dialed does not accept calls from callers that have their number blocked for caller id viewing. Please deactivate your block and try your call again.” or similar message, simply press the cpn button and hit redial. The call goes through everytime.
