Outgoing caller ID for DID extensions

I have been trying to send out the extension DID number as a caller ID, but it is not working. Before I talk to the phone company, I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. I have tried one of these three options, which still does not work:

(1) add short code to user tab as follows:
Code: 9N
Telephone Number: NsiXXXXXXXXXX (XXXXXXXXXX = extension full DID number)
Feature: Dial 3K1
Line Group ID: "ARS Profile"

(2) system short code:
Code: 9N
Telephone Number: NsiXXXXXXE (XXXXXX = Areacode and prefix for extension DID number)
Feature: Dial 3K1
Line Group ID: "ARS Profile"

(3) Entry in the main PRI ARS profile:
Code: N;
Telephone Number: NsiXXXXXXE (XXXXXX = Areacode and prefix for extension DID number)
Feature: Dial 3K1
Line Group: "PRI group"

Either I am missing something simple in my coding or the phone company is not allowing me to use my DID numbers as caller ID.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The systems default behaviour is to send the DDI when a user has one assigned anyway, but you can confirm what's being sent using monitor, if you're sending it and they are not allowing it you have your answer
