I have a 7 ISDN PRI on a CS 1000 - the carrier (Verizon) swears they cannot put the name in for caller ID on the PRI side. They say it comes from teh switch. The numbers show up outbound ok, just not the name.

Where would I add the name so ALL outbound calls displays the same name for outbound calls. Is this in the CPND area in LD 95, or somewhere.

The CLID table is set up so Departmental numbers show up on outbound. we do not want the CPND to show, just a Common Name. for example "XYZ Company

well, i'm not an expert, but my understanding of CPN screening is whether or not the carrier that you are using to terminate the call is doing any kind of validation on the CPN that your equipment transmits. For example, Focal (the CLEC) will not allow you to transmit any CPN that is not a DID that they provide service for. If you attempt to transmit a CPN that is not 'yours' (for example, that of a forwarded call), they will substitue your main billing number for whatever your equipment is sending. In most cases, LEC's and CLEC's do implement CPN screening, but the LD carriers do not.
