I have a customer with a remote site they're interested in networking to their main location.

I was wondering if it was possible to eliminate the need for a 2nd circuit at the remote site, if it was possible for the remote to pull dialtone from the main site for outbound access.

Anyone tried to do this before?

i'vent done it on a norstar - but that is doable for sure

except for 911 regulations

That was a quick response, senk1s. Thx!

If someone that has done it on a norstar can give me some idea how it's done I'd appreciate it!

there was a thread/ FAQ by mroberts about networking norstars and centralized voicemail a while back ...

that should give good direction for ur requirement as well

Agreed, the FAQ was a big help on setting up station to station dialing, however I don't believe it had anything in there about making outbound calls across the point to point from the remote system thru the central system.

You need to build a Remote Package and assign it to the INBOUND and OUTBOUND trunks that you want to allow them to use.
1-Build Restriction Filter
2-Add Filter to Remote Package
3-Assign Remote Package to Lines

Thx hawks. I'll give it a shot when the time comes!
