Good Morning,

I have a situation where I need to have a group of 24 phones in a call center make outbound calls over a specific trunk group, A trunk group that I am putting into service specifically for this project. This is strictly an outbound project, there will be no inbound traffic at all.

I currently have a trunk group programmed for all outbound calls today.

Can anyone tell me the easiest way to configure these 24 phones to use this trunk group only? Avaya S8710 (CM 3.x)

Thanks in advance!

Sorry.. just to confirm, it is a new trunk group that I have to have these 24 stations make call out on and not the existing one that I have today.

Use the ARS Partitioning table. You will need to modify your existing ARS Analysis entries and create new Route Patterns using the new Trunk Group.

1) Start by creating the new Route Pattern (change route-pattern x).
2) Create the Partition Route Table (change partition-route-table 1). For Partition 1 put the Route Pattern currently used. For Partition 2 put the new Route Pattern created in Step 1.
3) Modify the existing ARS Analysis table (change ars analysis x). Put a 'p' in front of each entry. i.e. 1 becomes p1.
4) Create a new COR for the Agents that you want to use the new trunks (change cor x). In the 'Time of Day Chart' field, put a digit '2'.
5) Assign the new COR to the Agents.
6) Make test calls from both the agent & non-agent phones.
