Hi, I have a user who has a problem with the out of office assistant in outlook 2000. The machine he uses runs win2k with office 2k-sr1, we have exchange 2k on a win2k server. I tested it from my machine which has the same softare setup and it worked sweet, I tried it from a winXP machine with officeXP and it worked sweet. It used to work for this guy but doesn't anymore. The problem is that even though outlook says that out of office is on it doen't send a reply, happens whether or not outlook is open. My boss said he had this problem once before and fixed it with a registry hack or with a dll file he downloaded but can't remember what it was. Any Ideas ?

Try running Detect and Repair on OL 2000. You'll find it under the Help menu.
