Out of Office assistant will not reply to External address

I'm running Exchange 5/5 NT4.0. Office 2000 on all clients. Out of Office assistant only replies to messages sent from w/in the organization (not just this Exchange site only)

So, people from other companies just think we are ignoring them. They get no reply. I'm suspecting my PIX, but am I missing something?

In IMS, on the Internet Mail tab, click the Advanced Options button, and unselect the (selected by default) Disable Out of Office response to the Internet.

You should stop and restart the IMS service when you have finished saving the new setting.
