I'm using Crystal Reports 9. Tables containing around 2 million records running in a database server. connected with ODBC source. While previewing reports, "Accessing Database" is displaying in the statusbar and hung up. After some time ( few mins) got "Out of Memory" error. Report includes 3 tables with inner joins. If u have any idea please help me

I suspect that we need to fix your record selection formula as the rows are getting pulled into the report as opposed to being filtered on the server.

Post what database that you're using, what's in the Database->Show SQL Query and what's in the Report->Select Formulas->Record

Whatever is in the record selection formula should be reflected in the Show SQL

Another "suspect" is the possibility of "Record Inflation" due to multiple one-to-many joins from the same table.
If you explain in detail the nature of the joins it would be possible to get a better sense of that possibility.

Happy New Year!
