OTM PE Units stopped working

My OTM used to work fine for years, but recently I cannot perform any status, enable, disable etc with PE units. If I do a network loop status etc it works ok there. It fails everything to do with PE units. It says "status command failed" or "enable failed". Anyone find a solution to this?
Running OTM 2.10.
