I put in a date range, say from the first of the year until Feb 28th. Nothing collected before Jan 16, and nothing after 2/8. What the?

Is the CTY port spitting out records?

How do I tell that? I think they've had this problem before, and she said she thought we came out and did a reconcile and it fixed it. That didn't seem to make sense to me.

Could be several different things

Look to see how OTM is setup to collect data
DBA? Serial Port?

if DBA check switch - LD 117 STAT Buf This will show if enabled and if connected. If enabled but not connected try terminating OTM and restarting - DBA should start automatically

If serial, Check your serial connections, Check switch - LD 37 stat

Connect port to lapto and see if you are getting data

Is there a way for a third party tool (i.e. HyperTerminal) or some other off the shelf collection tool to connect and read data using DBA?

If the CDR database is corrupt, go into the System Window, under Utilities, and use the "Compact and Repair" utility and see if that fixes it.
