orphaned report headers

i have a report header and 1 detail section ,
in the detail i have 1 subreport, this subreport generate some time more than 1 pages, when this happen (more 1 page),
the subreport put the information from the second page, and in the first page only put the report header,

i put keep together on in the main and subreport option, but always when the report have more than 1 page the first page only show the report header information, and the from second page all the information......

Build a fake outside group in the subreport (assuming that you have groups already, otehr wise this will be the only) and place your headings in it, an example of a fake group might be:

If {table.field} = "Thisain'tnevahgonnahappen" then
0
else
1

Everything will end up in the 1 group

Make sure that when you insert the group into the report you select Repeat Group Header on Each Page.

Enable the "keep together" for the group....right-click on the group header in the margin...select change group and check the option at the bottom
