orphaned messages

I'm trying to help someone with some orphaned messages stuck in the local delivery queue that they cannot figure out how to move.

The messages were originally bound for 2 mailboxes that were corrupted (msexchange transport error 327).

They fixed the mailboxes, but the messages in the queue still won’t forward. We're thinking that since they created a new mailbox, Exchange doesn’t know where to send the messages…

Any insight on this, besides just deleting the messages? :-)
