Order to apply patches and firmware 1

I have not yet downloaded any firmware or patches and want to make sure I do it correctly. Is there an order in which to apply, in other words should I apply the patch for ACM 1st or the Cards firmware 1st? Thanks for your help!

It doesn't matter, I usually update the /tftpboot directory, before even running the AIW, and I also patch before running the wizard.. In fact, I do most of the install manually... The AVAYA Installation Wizard doesn't always work correctly, and you can do most of the work in the maint. web page, along with "configure server". You can also manually upgrade firmware, which is how I do it.

Thank you, I appreciate the reply. I'm a bit confused as to which components I even need to upgrade. The Avaya website is very confusing on this. You don't have any written procedures do you?

This may help you. Basically you download firmware to anything that is ?P packs.
