Oracle Upgrade Costs

Hello there everyone.

I have been searching for prices of upgrading an Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition database to an Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition database. I found a pdf file at the Oracle site that contains prices, but I can't seem to make heads or tails of it. It says nothing about the different versions of Oracle.

Does that mean it will cost me the same to upgrade to Oracle 9i Enterprise as it would to upgrade to Oracle 10g Enterprise?

If you have a support contract with Oracle - it costs nothing to upgrade.

If you do not - it depends on your relationship with your local Oracle vendor - there are no hard and fast prices
