Hi, Does anyone know (if such exists) what Oracles equivlent to Microsoft Access's Yes/No (True/False) field is. In MySQL this can be done with ENUM or SET (not the same as 'SET <field> = <value>'), but I am unable to find Oracles implimentation of such.

Any ideas?

IGNORE - Dumb question - Sorry!!!

There is nu such data type in Oracle, I will just use the 'Number' data-type and have the values 0 or 1 in there!

Some of my vendors use + and - some use Y ands N

Use a bitmap index on the field if you need to search on it.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

I may be also usefull to create check constraint to avoid other values.

Regards, Dima
