Oracle 8.1.7 and 9i running on AIX 5.2

I have 8.1.7 and 9.2.0 (multiple instances) on the same box under Solaris. We have some issues with serving all instances by the same listener ( 9i one doesn't work correctly with some 8.0 clients, in fact it doesn't have to 
), thus we run 2 listeners (8i and 9i) on different ports.
