Oracle 8.0.6 and AIX 5.1

Hello,

We are currently running Oracle 8.0.6 under AIX 4.3.3. We plan on upgrading to AIX 5.1 or 5.2.

Will we still be able to run Oracle 8.0.6 under AIX 5.1 or 5.2 ?

if you're planning to go to 64-bit 5L, then no. The only supported 64-bit 5L compatible version of Oracle is 9i
