During data block wizard definition, I check the box "Enforce Data Integrity". This "creates a client-side form trigger to enforce server-side editing constraints."

Does it mean that the constraint will be tested on the client-side and the server-side test will be ignored?

Is this generally faster or slower?

Do you recommend its use?

Thanks

It means that any constraints that can be checked before going to the database and incuring the cost will be done on the client first. It will then either fail and stop or send the data to the database. The database will then repeat the checks and probably others before making the changes.
Pros: It saves a round trip to the database.
Cons: If you add another constraint you need to add it to the form to get the benefit.
