Hi there,

I am a little confused about this error message. When I am logged in as "sys" I can run the query without a problem and view the results, but when I log in as a user I receive this error. If the error is indicating that the datatype is not declared properly in the code (as the user forums seem to suggest), why does it work with sys and not with a regular user?

What changes do I have to do to the code or profile settings?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

First of all you should find exact place where the error was produced. It may be caused by thousands of reasons. Most obvious: the objects in query are resolved differently (objects with same manes exist in both schemas), USER (or some other user-dependant value) is used in query etc. BTW, did you run both queries from the same SQL*PLUS session? If not - the problem may be in NLS settings also.

Regards, Dima
