Metalink indicates:
When HASH_MULTIBLOCK_IO_COUNT it set to 0, it means that Oracle computes the value for each query. Sometimes ORA-3232 may be encountered when a query uses HASH JOIN.

But, they don't really say what to do when the block size for TEMP tablespace is per their Bulletin. Any real world suggestions for correcting this problem?

What are the implications to setting it to 1?
