I have customers form with four option bottons , I want the value of these option bottom to be be "X" instead of 1,2,3,4 when I print my report.
it means that the value of option botton which are 1,2,3,4 to be X,X,X,X because I use this form to print pre-printed form.is this possible in ms access.
please help.

Yes, this is quite simple. But requires some VBA coding, you familiar with that?

What you do is to cut out the option buttons from you'r form. Then paste them in again to get the control source "unbound". Now go to propeteries of the buttons and remove the 1,2,3,4 values. Then you do some coding to collect the selected options in you'r text format x,x,x,x.

I assume you want to have other data in it than just x,x,x,x. Like John, Peter, Jane, Jack? If you don't know where to start in VBA I'll provide you with some code.. Let me know.
