We are networking a 61C with 2 Matra PBXs and have a few problems. The 61C has been configured with a dual PRI (tie) into a ciso router and the two Matra PBXs are connected to CISCO routers (FXO card in the cisco and trunk card in the Matra). The 61C outputs an 81 and 82 dial plan numbers to the cisco to determine route and then the extension. The call seems to get to the ciscos connected to the Matras, but cannot go futher.

How can we forward the calls from the cisco to the Matras (to switchboard)? The Matras also need to dial 80 to get to the 61C, but the cisco engineer tells me that the Matras are expecting a tone from the 61C. How do I generate a tone through the ciscos to the Matra.

Thanks a lot.

the cisco has to send the tone if the marta needs one.. (i doubt that statement).. the cisco has to have a dial plan internal to send your digits to the marta and the martas digits to the nortel.. because your using the cisco between the two.. the cisco is now the tandem switch.. cisco bcm can handle that, not a big jump. might consider conecting the marta to the nortel via qsig.. and if you want intergration you can not dial the acod, you need to dial the ext number from each end... we are going to 5 digits this year so that the avaya/nortel/cisco/call pilot will all be able to be fully intergrated..
