Option 61c core card slots 2

It's been a while since I've done this. Call it a "Senior Moment". What are the card slots on a Option 61c? I need to add a NT5D12AH dual port PRI card to an Option 61c, and I can't remember how the card slots layout. Am I better using a existing MSDL port or the Daughterboard D channel card?
 
0 - 15 in core 0
16 -32 in core 1

And yes daughter board on the 5d12 is the best way to go. For troubleshooting you can eliminate one card and one cable.
 
and the msdl can be used if you have vacant ports.. that programs to the switch setting, not the msdl slot.. ld 96 map dch will help a lot. the bad news about using that card is you have to dis msdl x all then enl msdl x fdl to write the dch to the card after the build.. that can cause a problem with traffic depending on what else is built on that card

Currently, I have 2 Dual PRI card in Core 1 and 1 MSDL card. In Cord 2, I have 3 Dual PRI card and 1 MDSL card. I'm trying to add an additional MSDL card and Dual PRI card. Do I install the PRI card in core 0 and the second MSDL card in core 1? The open slot in core 0 is 3 and core 1 is 11 and 17.

In the cores (atually Net/Core) you should see network cardslot numbers labeled. In core/net 0 you should see 0/1, 2/3, 4/5, 6/7, 8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15. Each cardslot has 2 numbers because it support 2 network loops. When you are talking a superloop that uses 4 network loops. Therefore, an MSDL card can be in a slot next to a superloop NET card because it derives it's settings from the dial switch inside it and only uses the cardslot for power and to talk on the bus.

A Dual-PRI card on the other hand uses the pysical network loops (2 of them) of the cardslot that it is plugged into.

For the Dual-PRI I mentioned that 18/19 appear to be vacant. That was upon looking at your CEQU printout. 18/19 should be the second network slot in core/net 1. You have to visually inspect that slot to verify that there is no other card in it. If it is vacant use it for the Dual-PRI. IF not the next set of vacant loops is 30/31.

As for the MSDL you have to manually set the switch in the card to specify the port numbers and find any open network slot. Remember they can be insterted next to a superloop card and that is where I would recommend putting one.
