OPTION 11 Help

I have an three cab Option 11 with Meridian mail 13. The Option 11 is on release 3.0. The SSC card has 16 meg DRAM. The Meridian Mail has been license for 10 ports, however I only have 6 ports install and working. I was attempting to install the hardward for an additional 2 ports, however each time I bring the system up with the additional ports. The ports would answer but I would not get the Ms Meridian Mail. I have tested each of the hardware and even swap out the face plate board and still have the same problem. I have a feel that I need to upgrade the SSC card to a 32 meg DRAM card but need to confirm before I spend the money to do so. Can anyone help? Also does anyone have this NTP 241-1001-205 Memory Expansion Options?

Did you add the additional ports in the ACD group for your mail?

Did you run the install tape for mail and let it discover the new ports?

Yes additional ports were added to ACD group. No i did not run the install tape.

Mail will only see the ports that are installed when the install tape is run.

I ran the install tape and I still have the same issue where I get connected to the ports but no responce is coming from mail.
