All,

The setup in a nutshell:

C:\ RAID-1 73GB 15K RPM Drive
P:\ RAID-0 73GB 15K RPM Drive

6 GB Physical RAM

What do you think would be the optimal size for a page file to be moved from C:\ to P:\?

I was thinking of creating 3 2GB page files on P: using the MSFT KBB Article 237740. But in other places I read just to leave it at the limit of 4GB.

Thoughts?

Rob

Going back to some Microsoft basics, move it off your C drive, and way back when - rule of thumb used to be "double the memory = pagefile".

You can set it at the limit of 4, and just check your utilization in the task manager from time to time.
