I think it is in ld 135 and do scpu.
Can someone if that all i need to do.

when you do scpu, the box will test the stnadby side, it will not switch into a cpu that not talking..

why do you need to scpu?

I have been running on CPU 1 for several months.

The newer processors don't need to be swapped like the old ones. Nortel kinda figured out that swapping processors doesn't really do anything, because the idle processor is really redundant now and IS working. Swapping just makes the system burp at midnight.

if you really want your cores to swap you have to change that in your system. But like DocVic states with the new processors, they really are truly redundant.

Thank You all for the information.
Happy Holidays.

Nortel did change their initial position, and does recommend swapping processors during the midnight routines.

You can also run into a situation where something is wrong with the standby, and it will not swap properly if anything goes wrong with the active.

This can go unnoticed, unless you are diligent in checking your health all the time.
