We just installed a new system spanning CenturyTel & SBC LECs. The problem we are having on our CenturyTel (Seimans CO)PRI is we can't get our new SBC(DMS CO) prefixes to go out over it. CenturyTel states that the PRI is programmed correctly, but that the subparty calling line information needs to be "Allowed". The person that stated this is a Seimans expert, so he said he's not sure where this would be changed on a Meridian PBX. Anyone know what he may be talking about???

What did he say? Is that CLID? Ask him to confirm the dchannel setup. If dchannel up you can enable dchannel messaging in and out for more detail information of the call. Ask him to more generic about his terms or tell him to describe it, still not sure what he is referring to.

do you have new prefixes in your area and need to point them to a new pri?

you need to do a enl msgi on the d for that channel, he needs to see a calling party number, if your not sending one to a dms they insert your billing number, so could a seimens if the tech wanted to complete that field, if your not sending a calling number, set up a clid table, test the msgi again then try the co tech again...
