OPT 11 TTY PORT LOCKING UP

I am having trouble with the TTY ports locking up on an OPT 11. It isn't a 56k modem, I have changed modems and ports and after 1 successful connection, the tty port locks out.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

check the set up on the modem, i have that problem is i use harware control on an 11. the cable or card may be bad

Another idea that you can try is to change the TTY "USER" settings to only have "SCH" on the port.
