I have an 8 port Universal Analog Trunk card but I am not sure of the PIN config at the 66 block. Is it 2 ACTIVE then 4 INACTIVE and so on?

Skip every other pair. First TN on first pair, skip pair, second TN, skip pair, etc.

0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14" are your pairs on the MDF block

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

They are terminating on a 25 pair 66 block trunk card 02 so I have 25 pairs that I am looking at.

So do I start with PIN ( 1 ) and skip every oter PIN on the block?

Follow up. When I look at the configs via PRT and then enter a TN will I only view or change for example in my case on cards 02 and 13:

02-00 (COT-01)
02-01 (COT-02)
02-03 (COT-03)
etc

13-00
13-01
13-02

?

The first TN will be on the first pair, then skip a pair. Second TN on the third pair, skip a pair, etc.. So first TN is on the white/blue, blue white. Second TN will be on the White/green, green white and so on.

The first COT circuit will be on the white blue/blue white pair or the first two pins, the skip the white orange/orange white pair and the second COT will be on the white green/green white pair, skip white brown brown white and connect the third circuit on white slate/slate white, trhe connect red orange/ orange red and red brown/brown red, black blue/blue black, and so on

Thanks,

Buddy

Thank you. When I program a TN for that pair do I still use for example on card 02:

02-00 for COT-01
02-02 for COT-02
02-04 for COT-03

etc

No, as I mentioned above you will use 2-0, 2-1, 2-2, etc... up to 2-7.

Each tn actually has 2 pair, first pair is for dialtone and second is for dry contact that can be used for door openers, alarms, etc...
