I have a request for a doc to show how many station are on the system if i do a station search and the object list can i transfer /copy that to an excel sheet

If you use Comwin:

Login
Macro / Start CBL / Examples /
List Stations

Or
Phonebook Excel - which will place an excel sheet in your temporary directory

Or, you can install the Export Table Client from Assistant/Utilities/Import/Export API (XIE). Install extable.exe, then have it connect to Assistant and use it to export from the informix. You want pers, persdat, port, one of those tables. You can choose what to export.
