Help, I need to open a Star Office spreadsheet in Excel. Is there any way to do this or should I just install Star Office somewhere and extract the data that way?

Opening ".sdc" docs in MS Office

You will probably have to get access to a machine with Star Office on it. However, if you want to use the file in Excel in the future you can do a "Save As" in Star Office and select the Excel version you want. Options include Excel 95 and Excel 97/2000.
