opening links inside a table cell??

Not without Frames or at least an iframe.
Maybe you could use some server-side code to read the external webpage, and load the html into the cell, but you would need to strip the html head body tags etc.. and just load the section between the body tags into the cell.

Ignorance is not necessarily Bliss, case in point:
Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.
