I’m running Access versions 97 and 2003 on my PC. When I double click on an MDB file, the system is attempting to open the file in version 97 by default. Also, if I right mouse on a MDB file, and select “Open With” only version 97 is listed. On other computers I have had, both version of Access were listed.

How can I get the default version of Access changed to 2003 and how can I get both versions of Access to showed up under “Open With”?

Thanks
Bennie

You need to change the file association for MDB to open with Access 2003 (tools, folder options, file types).

And you would need to choose open with and browse for the Access 2003 exe file and choose that as the default one (the next time you open want to choose the program to open with you should have both versions populated).

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.
