Our NetWorker version is 6.1.2; Can we install/run Openfile Manager version 9.2?

OFM works on the Operating System and makes open files available to whatever program for whatever purpose. NetWorker does not care where the files come from. As a consequence, there is no limitation with respect to NetWorker but with respect to the OS.

Again, NW will not "work with OFM" - it works on files. It does not matter who or what provides them. Please have a look at the SCG and see yourself.
