I am trying to open a folder/file selcetion dialog box when the user clicks on a command button on an Access 2000 form. One of the fields they need to fill in is a pathname and another is the file name of files on their computer. Am I missing something obvious or is this awkward? I presumed it would be some form of common dialog control that I can simply call.

Cheers
Andy

Thanks for response but the common dialog only appears to provide full file name choosing but I really need separate folder choice and file choice like the dirListBox and FileListBox in Visual Basic.

Cheers
Andy

I was curious if you ever figured out how to seperate the folder and file choices like it is done in Visual Basic. I am looking to do the same thing but have been unable to figure it out. If you have any ideas i would appreciate the tips.
Thanx. Michelle
