I have some users that are mostly on the road and don't want to join our Windows 2003 domain. They are using Outlook 2003 SP1 on Windows XP SP1/2 as an Exchange client using NTLM only (Password Authentication) and it works fine (Outlook will not see the Exchange 2003 server properly without choosing NTLM only via VPN).
The problem is that they have trouble opening other user's shared calendars. I was able to open two user's calendars but none of the others. It says that the folder cannot be found.
What are the requirements for shared calendars? Do these computers have to join the domain? If so then why was I able to open some users and not others.
Thank you all for your help.
