I used to be able to open other users e-mail and calenders. I am unable to do so. I have domain admin rights and used to be able to go to Outlook and open another users folder in the config. Any idea on the basics of what I need to be able to do this?

You didn't say what's changed since you last had rights.

By default, in Exchange 2003, Admins don't have rights.

If I take myself out of that group should that work?

I ran most of the security updates on the server. In addition it broke the Goodlink service running on my mobile device as well. That is a completely different issue.

Yup, R2 will do that!

In the past all admins had the send as permission by default the new service pack removes this default behaviour.

Have a look at

For your mobile device issue. (I know you didn't ask but thought it might help!)

Iain,

Thanks. I will take a look at that as well. I was thinking I would just get a new mobile device and go to direct push.
