How do I open notepad and write to it? Please can you give me the code?
I am getting my data from an Attachmate extra screen and storing the required data in a string. once note pad is open i will need to paste the contents of the strings into note pad.
Could you also help be with the code for Tab, space and new line?

thank you in advance

Hi,

Notepad is a simple TEXT EDITOR.

Why not simply Open a file for Output and write to a file using the Basic Print# code?

For now solving this problem will meet my needs, if I could take control of an open email that would be even better

Please post the code that you already have and annotate where you have problems.
