Open Manage for Dell

I'm new to Dell PCs and I'm trying to use the Open Manage IT Assistant on a DEll Optiplex SX260. I have two issues.

The first is when I click on the Status tab I get "Unable to connect to the remote system." All of the other tabs work fine.

The second is I need to know how to set it up so I would be notified or at least check remotely if the chassis has been opened. TIA.
