Open MAC files on PC

MS Office docs will open on mac as will virtually all graphics formats, with no conversion software.

For mac files to be cross platform i.e. word files that will work on both you must set the mac to include the file extension so uncheck hide extension.
Oops! I misread and thought "opening pc files' on mac.
Unless confined to a certain, mac only app, the vast majority of mac files should open on a corresponding app on PC. As the above poster noted, make sure that the file has the extension shown - .doc, .xls, .ai, etc.
