Thanks to anyone who can help. Is there script that will allow me to open a html page with a flash movie on it and then go to specific frame in that movie. (but only if opened by that link. (Ie if page opened normally, movie will start at the beginning.)

Maybe very simple, but thanks

There is not a magic script or behavior for this but it can be done with javascript sending commands to the flash movie. Just saw this topic in the Flash forum yesterday, maybe you should have a look there.

Still can't get the movie to automatically start on specific frame if accessed by a link on another page.

Can anyone else help..

thanks

I havent done a lot with Flash but surely there are ways to pass a swf a variable and then use the scripting to go to a certain frame. This would obviously need to be done in Flash not DW, try asking this in the Flash forum

I'm slightly wary but I think I've solved it with named anchors, seems too easy....?!
