open form to specific combo box line

I am trying to return to a form/subform with a combo box and would like this combo to be selected using the id# of the record on the form I'm leaving as criteria.

Set the value to be displayed in a variable then equal your combo box to that variable.

You also must consider the Bound Column of the Combobox. What you are viewing is not necessarily what is bound to the comboBox. (i.e. Name is displayed but RecordNumber is an invisible column and happens to be the found column)
