Open drives in my computer created 1

Recently I have discovered in Win98 network that in my computer any available drives have been designated as remote drives, I can not remove them or change them. Any suggestions

If you right-click on one of them, is there a disconnect in the drop-down menu ?

There is no disconnect option available. I removed and readded the network settings, for a brief period; under 1 minute or so on the reboot there were no drives, however, they were reestablished shortly thereafter.

Run MSCONFIG or a similar program and look for a (pirate) program in Startup.

Thanks, doing that through process of elimination I found it was a Client Access Check Version utility that was causing it. Thanks Again
