open attachment warning

hello.i am wondering how i can turn off the window that pops up when i click on an attachment in outlook express.
i unchecked the box and still pops up.i was sent 6 jpeg
pictures opened the first one,unchecked the box and it still pops up.i tried unchecking with all different types of files and still pops up.it is like it dosent see the box as being unchecked.thanks in advance

Not sure what box you are referring to. Make sure that the Outlook Express/ Tools/ Options/ Security/ "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" is unchecked and that you Apply and OK.

Reset it after saving your Jpeg's.

Hi, Be afraid, be very afraid - Unless you KNOW for certain what an attachment is ( the name is not always real) letting Outlook ( or any other Email) OPEN attachments without your specific permission gives malicious folks an open door to your system...If you do set it that way be sure to have a very good anti-virus program running and checking Email attachments before allowing then to run..
