Hi! I have an Access database that I am working on that will reside on a department server. I would like my users to be able to open up reports (that are saved in Adobe Acrobat format) which are also residing on the same server. (i.e. they click on a button and the report opens up on Acrobat Reader) I have tried RunApp but it is not working. Does anyone have any ideas?

Set up a field of type OLE in a table. Go to datasheet view and click the field then click Insert>Object. Find the pdf and click OK. I recommend linking to the file. Then when you double click on the field, reader will open the pdf. Make sure you don't move the pdf or Access will not be able to find it.

Best regards,
Henr¥
