onresize and https problem

We are facing one problem with all kind of browsers. Whenever user clicks minimize or maximize button on browser, browser is making call to the server and reloading the current page. In case of POST method it is resubmitting the data which can create problem for us.
Our server is https server, i am not sure if we need to pass some header to get rid of this problem because of https server. Could you please advise us what may be the reason for this problem?
