only admins can log into ftp

I've set my ftp server to only allow authenticated users to access the ftp site so they can log into their respective directories. Works great...IF they are set as an admin. Any thoughts on wether this is an NTFS permissions situation or am I just struck blind?

You will need to assign the group the permission to log on locally. I am betting this is what is causing you grief. By default only admins can log on locally.
This should fix your problems

ok, that did work for me...I don't know that I feel comfortable with local logins allowed though. These are not users, just customers for hosting. I can't always convince them they need a stronger password.

yeah its id 530...everything I've found even from MS Knowledge base said logon locally. If you found something to the contrary I'm all ears. Thanks for checking it out...

Sounds like your machine is a domain controller? If it is a standalone your fine.

go to the policies, and give the rights to log on from the network to those users. A+, MCP, CCNA

ok I was able to remove them from logging on locally and adding them to log in from the network. I just don't want a wisecracker customer (I have a couple) browsing through stuff and seeing what they can see.
